Shaggy.

Olivia's wearing: Zimmermann floral tank, White Suede leather running shorts, Sportsgirl jumper, Proenza Schouler PS11 mini, Acne Pistol boots.

This shaggy jumper is another item in my wardrobe that is odd, but strangely good. I was attracted to the deep maroon colour of it, considering I've bought almost every item of clothing in this shade that I've laid eyes on lately. I feel a bit like Hagrid from Harry Potter when I wear it, due to how big and shaggy it is, but I'm not complaining.

Mosaic.

Kate's wearing: Zara peplum top and pants, Proenza Schouler PS11 mini, Sportsgirl heels and lipstick, Michael Kors watch, Cartier ring.

These pants would have to be the most comfortable item of clothing that we own, without a doubt. The light, silky fabric and loose fit makes them feel like luxurious pyjama pants, which is part of the appeal. We've been meaning to incorporate them into one of our blog posts for quite some time, but we haven't been able to find the right pieces to match them with. It's hard to find suitable things to wear with these pants as the loose, unstructured fit means you have to pair them with tailored pieces like peplum tops and more feminine shoes like heels or sandals.

Mermaid.

Olivia's wearing: Sass and Bide tank, Aje 'Catara' skirt, Michael Kors watch, Jeffrey Campbell 'Everly' boots.

Ariel has always been my favourite Disney Princess, as Kate and I have wanted to be mermaids since we first learnt to swim. I took the obsession to a whole new level when I was about eight and got an Ariel costume from Disneyland, which I then wore in the pool and subsequently nearly drowned in. This Aje skirt seems to be the closest I'll get to a mermaid tail and it so happens to be the safest (and most stylish) option as well. I like that I can fulfil my childhood fantasises whilst wearing it, yet it's also one of my all-time favourite pieces that I've ever purchased. Although the concept of it is rather odd - a sequinned skirt with jagged edges and triangular shaped cutouts - somehow it works. Kate and I have loved the 'Catara' skirts since we first laid eyes on them, the only hard part about the decision was choosing which colours to get. I'm a sucker for any colour that even closely resembles mint green and I wanted to choose a shade that not everyone would opt for, so I was happy to see this colour included in Aje's latest drop. We love that these skirts can be worn with things like peplum tops and heels for dinner and drinks, yet they can also be worn with sneakers and a tee for casual occasions.

Make sure you check our upcoming posts to see which colour Kate chose...

Tomboy.

Kate's wearing: Bec and Bridge 'Catalina' striped tank, J Brand coated skirt, Zara jacket, Proenza Schouler PS11 mini bag, Isabel Marant sneakers, Cartier Love ring.

After devoting myself to J Brand jeans, it came time for me to branch out and try some of their other pieces as I had just about exhausted all of their other denim options. This coated skirt is a no-fuss piece that can be transformed easily - I can wear it with sneakers if I'm in more of a tomboy mood or with flats or heels if I feel like putting in more effort.

We're still completely obsessed with stripes, we've expanded our collections even further and now find ourselves wearing something striped everyday that we're not at work (we even try to sneak some stripes into our work attire).
